How Does It Work?

Each flow consists of interconnected nodes. One node produces data, the next processes it, branches it or forwards it to an external system. A timer, a webhook, a file change or a machine event can be used as a trigger. When the flow completes, it can write results to a database, send notifications or start another flow.

Use Cases

Where Is FusionBox Used?

A wide application range from small manufacturing workshops to large factories, from energy management to smart building systems.

Track what the line is producing, how many, where it stopped and why in real time. Operators select the stoppage reason from the screen, the system automatically calculates OEE. End-of-shift report is automatically generated and sent to relevant parties.

Running program, tool status, cutting time and workpiece count are read from machines with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain and Mitsubishi controllers. Which machine has been running how long and how long it has been waiting is visible on a central screen; efficiency analysis is done in real time.

Electricity, natural gas, compressed air and water meters in the factory are automatically read. Consumption data accumulates in a time-series database. When a particular line or machine consumes above normal, an immediate notification is received; shift and product-based cost analysis is performed.

Tank levels, reactor temperatures, flow rates and pressure values are visible live in process diagrams. The operator opens/closes valves and starts/stops pumps from the screen. PID parameters can be adjusted; alarms are triggered when limits are exceeded.

Values such as motor vibration, bearing temperature and oil pressure are continuously collected. When deviation from normal behavior is detected, an automatic message is sent to the maintenance team; intervention is made before the machine reaches a critical failure. Failure history and maintenance costs are reported.

Press, welding robot and assembly line data are collected on the same platform. Each workpiece is assigned a serial number; which machine it was processed on and with what parameters is recorded. Full traceability reports are ready for customer audits.

Temperature is tracked throughout the cold chain, raw material lots and processing parameters are recorded for each batch. Critical control points are monitored, deviations are immediately recorded and submitted for authorized approval.

Pump stations, treatment units and storage capacities are monitored on a single screen. Pumps and valves at remote points are remotely activated or stopped. Network flow and pressure map is updated in real time; fault notifications are automatically forwarded.

Conveyor and automation systems are monitored, data from barcode readers is processed in real time. Stock incoming/outgoing movements, layout plan and occupancy rates are tracked on screen. Data is exchanged with supplier and customer systems via EDI.

HVAC, lighting, generator and UPS systems are managed from a single platform. The real-time status of every point on floor plans is visible. Energy consumption is broken down by unit and floor, systems operating outside business hours are automatically shut down.

Inverters, transformers and connection points at solar or wind plants are monitored on a central screen. Real-time and cumulative production values, grid-side parameters and equipment alarms are managed in a single view.

FusionBox can run directly on a machine or control device. The Soft PLC layer sends commands to connected equipment and receives feedback; the operator screen runs on the same device. A fully-featured machine control software can be built without the need for external PLC hardware.
